Thank You Allah
By WR
Thank you! Allah for letting me see a new day.
Thank you! For keeping me out of harm’s way.
Thank you! For helping me with my life,
Thank you! For finding me a good wife.
Thank you! For my family and all my friends,
Thank you! For forgiving me of all my sins.
Thank you! For giving me some wealth.
Thank you! For keeping me in good health.
Thank you! For all that you do,
So I would like to say, thank you!

Thank you, WR, for sharing this poem – a great reminder to have an attitude of gratitude which I needed myself, today, especially. If we can all follow your example, we will see a long list of things to feel so good about and grateful for.
Thank you WR. My wife thanks God every morning and evening. She is 74. Her mother was a slave (in South America) and lived with us for the last 20 years of her life. I believe and hope your faith will keep you strong through all the hard stuff — and that you keep writing.
I enjoyed reading this poem because it was extremely relatable to a lot of my future goals too. The rhyme scheme is also interesting to note since “friends” and “sins” were the only words at the end of their respective lines that did not rhyme with each other.
It’s good to see that you’ve managed to maintain faith! Faith can get you through even the toughest times, and can be important in maintaining a sense of community.
I love your poem about your faith. I can feel the love you have for your god, and your gratitude is inspiring!
WR,
I like the repetition of “Thank you!”
The rhyming throughout the poem makes it a good read.
Hi WR ,
I really enjoyed reading your poem. I love that you’re practicing gratitude and thankfulness!
it’s so refreshing to see people so grateful especially in such hard times. With this mindset I am positive that you’ll excel in whatever you want. Please remember that you are enough and you are loved. Keep your head up !
Love,
MG
Everyday I try to write three things that I am grateful for, this poem reminds me of that. Sometimes we don’t always get the things we want and it can be disappointing and we forget what we have right in front of us that should be valued just as much or more. I love that you found something to be grateful for even when sometimes its hard to see it.
It resonates with the profound sense of thankfulness that arises from recognizing the divine guidance, love, and grace that enrich our existence.
The gratefulness in this poem is infectious. Although we may be in quite a struggle, there is always something to be thankful for, and this is important to keep in mind. I admire the positive attitude in this poem, as it can inspire us all to keep pushing onwards. Remembering the connections we have and our health is an often overlooked piece of life, and I really enjoyed reading how positively you see life. I would love to read more!
Mash’Allah this was a great poem that reminded me how much Allah has blessed us with
WR,
