Thank You

by R.D.

This poem is for all who help people like me

For all who care about Free Minds

People who sit there and do things

Even if they don’t have time

I want you to know the things you’ve been doing

Is helping change over time.

Even if it don’t feel like it

I’m letting you know

The gratitude I have for you

I will never let go

So all who help Free Minds

Help me and others

We want to thank you

Your help left a dent that is forever.

I believe that is the nicest thank you I ever heard or received. We help because we want to see you succeed and be just a tiny part of your success. Keep up the great work!

My daughter is working with Free Minds this summer … I’m sure she’ll be thanking YOU for all she’s learned from YOU. God Bless .

    RD,

This is a beautiful poem. It’s apparent that your appreciation is genuine, which alone is exactly what makes this program so worthwhile; I’m just as greatful that you and so many are willing to be open and express so many ideas to those of us here involved with Freeminds. The line “I want you to know the things you’ve been doing Is helping change over time” stands out to me because this poem was posted in 2012, now here I am a decade later in 2022 still feeling positively impacted by your words! I hope that you’re still writing today!
