My Perfect World

By MZ

In my perfect world, there wouldn’t be a child without two parents

My perfect world would consist of free college education to those who seek it

In my perfect world no one would be homeless or go hungry

Only love, joy, respect, peace, and happiness would be allowed in my perfect world

Jealousy, hate, envy, liars, cheaters, and thieves wouldn’t be in the human traits in my world of perfection

Uplifting one another and spreading positive vibes on a daily basis would be the model in my perfect world

Killing, drug dealing, gang banging, and mass incarceration wouldn’t even be known in my perfect world

Racism, sexism, and police brutality wouldn’t exist nowhere on my planet perfection

I often dream about a perfect world like this, hoping one day that these things would become my reality (wishful thinking, huh?)

I share your dream. I pray for it every day. Your poem is a beautiful statement of what the world SHOULD be. I don’t know why it isn’t this way. But I am grateful there are people like you here, to try to help make it better. Thank you for your poem.

Many people wish for a world like yours, but not many have the hearts to fight… or maybe have given up along the way. This world is cruel but you must not let it affect you because there is little hope anywhere and words can provide.

    MZ,

I often dream of a perfect planet too, and I agree with many of your qualifications. I think this planet is possible, and it’s in reach. It just takes an army to fight for it.

I like your dream about a perfect world. It is what we all want, isn’t it? It seems an impossible dream, but bit by bit, it can be reached in small ways. Here and there. If heaven was earth, this may be possible, a perfect world. Thank you for writing. Your poem speaks of hope and dreams and not giving up.

I’ve been told my desire to work for equality and equity and the “perfect world” you write about is a pipe dream. Not only is it a dream but it’s a wrong and discriminatory dream (to that I laugh). Your wish is echoed in my thoughts. I don’t believe in god, but I believe that if humanity chooses we can evolve beyond the petty bullshit. I believe in humanity. Thank you for writing this poem and inspiring me to keep believing and doing the work.

MZ envisions a society devoid of negativity and filled with love, equality, and prosperity. The author’s use of parallelism in listing contrasting concepts like love versus hate and positivity versus negativity adds rhetorical impact to the poem’s message of hope for a better world.

This poem is such a powerful reminder of the potential for a better world and the importance of striving towards that vision through action and shared values. It is important to maintain hope ina world where such turmoil and strife exists. Thank you for your words.

MZ, your poem advocates for uplifting one another and spreading positivity, rejecting violence, crime, and discrimination. It is a heartfelt expression of the dream for a more just, harmonious society, inspiring reflection on the values and actions needed to move towards that vision.

MZ, this is a touching poem. You use your words beautifully! It highlights very relevant topics in today’s society. Many people, just like you and me, dream of a perfect world. Many dream of a reality where everyone lives in harmony and peace, so your poem is relatable to the masses. You did an amazing job.
