A Mother’s Love

By IS

Your mother’s love is tender and soft
You’re her employee and she’s the boss
She gave you life and gives you love
Everlasting joy and never-ending hugs

She was there from the start
And you’ll be there until her end
She’s my mother, my sister,
And my favorite best friend

[I ‘liked’ this, and ten other bloggers ‘liked’ it before me. And I gave it a five-star rating!]

I love the last line as it expresses such purity of love – my mother, my sister, my favourite best friend. The whole thing expresses such love! Neverending, everlasting… I want to give this poem to my mother. Thanks, IS!

    Love,

IS, your poem is very touching. I love how you openly express the love and special bond that you and your mother share. Continue to write and be open with your feelings.

    IS,

I find myself in many bad situations in my life and the only thing that motivates me to keep pushing forward is my mother’s love. They are the ones that put us on their shoulders and carry us to the light at the end of the tunnel. They lift us higher when we are at are happiest and pick us up and hug us when we are at our lowest.

    IS,

It’s important to embrace your mother’s love. She has done everything in her power to give you happiness. No one in this world can give you love like your mother has. Be there for her as she was there for you. Nobody on this planet will understand you as much as your mother can.

Hello, this right here shows the importance of embracing and showing love to your mother. In life we only get one Mum, therefore we should take pride in looking after them and helping them for bringing us into this world. Great poem

    IS,

This poem reminded me of my mom so much and our relationship. You captured the relationship between a mother and their child so well. I especially loved the line “And my favorite best friend”. As I have gotten older my mom has become more and more of my best friend. When reading this I can tell you and your mom have an amazing realtionship and love each other dearly. Keep writing beautiful poems.

Hi IS! I enjoyed reading your poem. It was beautifully written and very true. A mother’s love is everlasting. No matter what happens, your mother is one person that will always love you. You are her child, her love. You are part of her and she is part of you. Nothing compares to a mother’s love or her embrace. She was there when you took your very first breath, and she will be with you always. Keep your head held high.
