Hope Without Work

By AD

Hope is a desire that leads nowhere without action.
Hope is wishing for something
that you didn’t put the work in to achieve,
so it didn’t happen.
Hope is just a prayer
without the deeds to make what you prayed for happen.
Hope is like you dreaming of things to go your way
but you didn’t put in the work
to make what you dreamed happen.
Hope is just a hollow thought
Without the work it takes to make what you
hope for come true,
Hope without putting in the work
to achieve what you hope for,
Is like a person sitting idle in a race for life
Hope is nothing without putting in
the work to make what you hope for
come true
Hope without work, is nothing but
a dream and a wish that will never
come true.
