Here’s a Day

Get up, take my girl to Starbuck’s around 9:00 am
Get a coffee, newspaper, and walk down the street to Au Bon Pan, and get a muffin
Talk and kiss my girl and tell her how much I love her
Leave in the smack out Audi R8
Hang around the house talking until 12:00
That’s a wrap.

Nice words! The title is great, and the simplicity of the poem is right on. It feels really clean, quiet, calm – a little lonely too, but mostly just chill. Any old day. Right on.

This certainly is a day! I think it’s quite peaceful! Being with a partner in life is amazing just living your lives together and conquering life together! This poem actually has motivated me more to find someone to have a day just as chill and relaxing as yours!

I hope one day this day can happen for you; I wish you the best of luck! Thank you for writing this great poem!

Your day in a life is about what everybody wishes for in the world. It seems so easy to wake up, get Starbucks, and hang around the house all day. I have no idea what you do for a living, but I wish that I could do that. It is really cool to see you writing poetry about your life. My favorite quote from the poem is the last two lines “Hang around the house talking until 12:00, that’s a wrap.”
