Seeds
By ER
I’m a seed
Scattered in the winds
Of uncertainty,
With aspirations of cultivated
In soils of fertility.
I’m a seed
Enduring forecasts of mystery.
Whether precipitation or sun rays,
Win or loss,
Take it all with consistency.
I spread my roots.
I reach right
For the sky.
I break the ground.
I grow right before your eye.
The future.
What a surprise.
