Before and After
By BS
Before
My little brother was burned in the fire
After
I had felt that life could get no better
I felt that no one could have a better brother
I acted as if I lost my best friend
I wished I never had to experience this
I just wish I had one wish

Sometimes In life things happen that we have no control over as human beings. Take in to consideration that no one has a perfect life. Instead of dwelling over things beyond our control, I suggest that we think positive and motivate ourselves to be strong willed for our loved ones, family, and friends.

Dear BS,
I wish I could comfort
I believe in a day when life is breathed into souls who are sleeping in death
and we can be with them once again.
I want to give you this hope,
that you will see your brother again.
BS,
I am sending all of my regards and sympathy to you in regards to your loss.
I lost a friend to a tragic fire when I was young, and I am still very sad about it to this day.
I want you to keep faith, and to also stay positive for your brother looking down on you. When the day comes for you two to see each other again, it will be like he never left you.
Your brother is your guardian angel.
Stay strong.

This poem is very emotional and moving. I like how you set the poem with the before and after lines. I’m sorry this happened to you and your family. We are always hurt the most once we lose someone, society needs to understand that we might lose everyone with a snap. We realize how much we appreciate the people around us once they are gone and for some that can be very emotional. You got this and remember the best is yet to come!
I like your poem. It’s sad and i can relate to the the emotions sparked at the loss of a loved one. It shows how sad and upset you are that your brother died in a fire, as well as how helpless and hopeless you feel. It’s a short poem that gets its point across with short sentences that show how you feel about the situation. I like how you used the phrase “I wish” over and over because it showed how much you wanted something and how sad you were about it. I also like how you used the word “never” because it showed how final the situation was. Sorry for your loss.
