When I Wake Up

I get mad when I wake up
out of my sleep
Because I be in my dream
world
And it really hurts me
When I wake up
Because it seems so real

    I really like that you put “world” on its own line.

    Did you do that on purpose?

    When I’m reading your poem, it makes me stop on that line and really think about the rest of the poem.

    this proves a poem can be short and still be meaningful. I thought it was bleak, but there is a true voice in there.
