Neely Wester

Neely Wester began with Free Minds as an intern in the spring of 2019 and has since become the Development & Communications Specialist. Neely has a BA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University, and a Master’s in Sociology from American University, with a focus on racial inequity and community cohesion. As a master’s student, she worked as a tutor in DC schools with DC Reads and as a teaching assistant for college-level classes on power and privilege. She is a Community Mediation Ambassador through Community Mediation DC.
