What I Wish for You, Mom
By MC
I would love to see you happy
I hurt to see you cry
You deserve high praise
I don’t want you to leave this earth
I wish for you to stay forever
I believe you can love me like a mother
Don’t be afraid of life
When I imagine you Mom, I feel happy
You are the best
I wish for you to love me to the very end

MC,
I am deeply connected to this poem. A mother’s love often is the only driving force that may carry us through our darkest hours. They are often the people who are the motivation for arriving at the light at the tunnel’s end. The very thought of seeing them suffer is enough to put the things that matter most in perspective. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and emotions with me.
MC,
Your poem is so lovely. Moms are the best persons in the world. Everybody should love their moms because they created us. They’ve taken care of us for the longest. Moms and Dads are the best people that someone can have.
Dear MC,
I loved this poem. Moms are so special and motherhood is such a unique experience. The bond a lot of mothers have with their children is so strong and radiates love. The influence parents have over children is incredibly impactful and are important for our entire lives. I am happy that you seem to have experienced such a great connection with your mother. I loved your poem because it is very emotional and it allows the reader to reflect on their own relationships with their mothers and appreciate fond memories. Thank you for sharing with us all!

Hi MC,
I love this poem. My mom has been my best friend my whole life, and I identify strongly with the feelings in this poem. I think for most people, we want our mom to have the world and more. I can feel the love you have for your mom through this piece. I think you captured the unconditional love a child has for their mother perfectly, and the lifelong relationship that parents have with their children beautifully as well. This is a happy piece to read, and a good reminder for people to cherish their moms. Thank you for sharing,
Ainsley
