Trouble Life…

By RW

I grew up without a father
I lost him to the pen while I lost my mother to the clubs
Hence, I was raised by my grandma
Then she lost me to the streets

Everything started off good
Then ended up bad
Many times I have been happy
And plenty times I have been sad

Every relationship I was in I never took it slow
My fear became me because I thought I was going to lose the race
Tears became the best friend of my face
It’s hard for me to trust, because I always been betrayed

In life there are two things you don’t get back
That’s time and health

I may not change the world but I can change myself

This poem spoke to me and made me wish for a magic eraser to wipe
Away the past and the hurt that this author has been through. I thank the author for being brave enough to put these words on paper and the website for publishing this work for all
To see. I am truly moved by what I have read.
