Roses Are Red

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I love you
And you know I do
Sometimes we fight
But I lay next to you at night
And know everything will be alright
Your love is like a train
That makes my heart choo choo
But me without you
Is like a clock without a cuckoo

I really like your poem. It shows the love you have for whoever you may be talking about. It also shows that your feelings have not changed even through the bad times and I think that’s what real love is, loving someone no matter what. I also like how you used the analogy of the train and clock to add a little fun to it.

What a sweet and playful poem! It’s filled with love, warmth, and a touch of humor that makes it so charming. The train and cuckoo clock metaphors add a delightful and unique twist, perfectly capturing how much your love means. Wonderful job!
