Decisions
Some are easy
Some are hard
Some have to be made
And some you can slack on
But what are the chances?
Decisions split your mind in two
Stressing on what’s right to do
At a crossroad it’s now or never
Here and now
What’s up, with the what’s up babyyyy!
No more games or time
What decision has come to your mind?
Decisions split in two
On what, when, where, why, and who

I really like this one. Hit’s it.
This is a great poem. You have a really strong opening. I love the line “Decisions split your mind in two/Stressing on what’s right to do…”
The rhyming in this one didn’t work for me, but that might just be me. Short lines and rhymes to me sound sing-songy.
But the language in this poem is really strong. This is a topic that’s not often addressed in poetry, and I really like the approach of a complicated topic in a poem. Why do we make the decisions we do? What do we go through, really, when we make a decision? That’s such a good topic for a poem. I will remember this one.
Decisions consume my life as it feels like I am constantly questioning if the decisions I’ve made are the right ones. You are very correct with varying difficulties and time restraints on certain decisions so it’s hard to tell how much time you have!
I wish you the best in all your future decisions and thank you for writing this amazing poem! Best of luck!

Your poem captures the internal struggle of making decisions, especially when faced with big choices. It speaks to the weight of decisions, the uncertainty of what’s right, and the urgency that comes with being at a crossroads. There’s a playful energy to it too, balancing seriousness with a lighter tone. Wonderful job with this poem, I loved reading it!
