Imagine

Have you ever kissed a ghost
Been to the end of the rainbow
Saw a unicorn
Or experienced death
Have you seen the eyes of Satan
The inside of a killer whale
Or been shot out of a whale’s blow hole
Sometimes you have to imagine
Because the ground is really not that far from the
Sky

This was a beautiful poem, inspiring and moving, the kind of poem that after reading left me with very moved thoughts and inspired me to imagine everything mentioned in this poem and then some.

“Because the ground is really not that far from the sky.” Wow! This is so profound that anything I say will only ruin it. Bravo, sir. Well done.

Wow, I love this poem. It a way I relate to this poem a lot because my mind races and I imagine very impossible things all the time. Imagining things isn’t a bad thing and sharing your creative thoughts can lead to happiness. My favorite line is “because the ground is really not that far from the sky.” This quote opens up so many questions and gets the reader’s mind thinking. Great writing, I really enjoyed it!

I like the concept of this poem, the rollercoaster of crazy unique phrases topped off with saying “Sometimes you have to imagine”, amazing!

“Because the ground is really not that far from the sky”, is a great ending to the poem! This has been one of the most creative poems I have read so far!

Best of luck and thank you for writing!

Your poem invites us to imagine the extraordinary, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. It suggests that sometimes, the things we dream of or question aren’t as far from reach as we think. The final line leaves us with a powerful reminder to shift our perspective. Great job on this poem, I enjoyed reading it!
