Chances
By VM
I’m a love machine
But I don’t have a weak heart to break
I am something a lot of women haven’t dealt with
It could be good for some
And bad for a lot
So please make sure you make the right decision
I’m not here to bring you any pain
I am the morphine you need
To take away the pain
So please take me
Because you and I both feel something
We never felt

There is a very good message here. It would be great to work with this writer to find out if more things could be done with this poem.
VM,
Thanks so much for sharing this poem. I dig the way you compare your love to morphine. It is nuanced and honest, and its message rings true: love is not always kind. Please keep writing! I want to read more.

This poem is emotional and nice to read because chances are something we are lucky to have. This poem seems to be about giving someone a second chance. I like the story that is weaved into this piece along with good word placement. I believe that everyone deserves a second change because people make mistakes; we are not perfect. You got this and remember the best is yet to come.
