Being Locked Up

By: JP

I wake up seeing people in my face
People think it’s funny being locked up
I sit back reading books
While people is praying while I’m locked up I’m wishing for good luck
People are tired of being locked up
So when them doors opening
Better think about good stuff
If not you going to be wishing
That God had trust
People blessed outside seeing light
Locked up that’s all you can do is write
I want to be that good person in life
I been through the laws
Tired of being behind them doors
You need to be out they say if you have a child
You better be out there
People like me, I got a baby
I aint out there
Trying to keep my head up so I can be out
Them people beefing while they’re locked up
People outside doing dumb stuff to get locked up
I been seen it. I am not trying to fall
Got to be on top to tell these people who’s the boss
