Melody Brown

Melody Brown began working with Free Minds in 2018. Prior to this, she worked as a Literacy Intervention Leader at Reading Partners, and had a career in numerous local and federal government agencies, including the Department of Public Works, NASA, and the FBI. Melody has a degree in Business Administration from Howard University. As Reentry Coordinator, she works directly with Free Minds members returning from jail or prison, coordinating weekly programming and assisting members with job training and placement.
