Congressman John Lewis Fellow

Jordan Toney is a Free Minds member and DC native. He joined Free Minds when he was incarcerated as an adult at only 17 years old. Upon his release from the DC Jail, he became one of the youngest Free Minds Poet Ambassadors in program history. He graduated from  high school and began working in the Free Minds office to provide program support. Jordan is a college student studying business entrepreneurship. He promotes non-violence and healing through sharing his story as the sixth recipient of the Free Minds Congressman John Lewis Fellowship for Free Minds.
