Donate to our campaign #10000JournalsForHope so we can reach our goal of sending 10,000 copies of The Untold Story of the Real Me to schools, libraries, detention centers, and other facilities across the country. Free Minds member Anthony writes in the literary journal, “When I started reading books about characters like me, that’s when it really hit me. I realized, Man, I’m not the only one going through this!” Can you help us spread that same comfort and connection Anthony received to other youths in need?

This is a work of dedication built on faith. Faith in the goodness of human hearts. Faith that writing is a powerful tool to enact changes in human existence. Faith that within each person is a deep desire to do what is good and humane, Faith to believe that we are under the direction of a Higher Power that guides us to be good citizens. That deep in our hearts we really love our neighbours and we do not want to see them hurting.
