Poem: “Sphinx’s Princess”

Sphinx’s Princess

Jeweled beyond compare
Worth more than worth,
More beautiful than nature
My sphinx’s princess.

I loved the simplicity of this poem. It’s short but gets the point across. I enjoyed reading this because even though you didn’t write much, the words that you did write was powerful and showed how you admire this person or object. I hope you continue to write more in the future.

I love the image you create. A sphinx implies mystery and beauty. I admire your view of such a princess. Keep that eye for beauty wide open. Keep writing!

To the author of “Sphinx’s princess,

I love the comparison to jewel’s and to the Sphinx’s princess. Whoever this was written for is very, very special indeed. Sometimes the shortest poems have the sweetest and most beautiful meanings.

    Best,

What would have taken me a million words to describe, you took less than 15 words to do so. There’s beauty in simplicity but your words are far from simple. Thank you for sharing.
